No two weddings are the same, no two days are alike.  Let's plan the day that you've been dreaming of.

Music is a world within itself, with a language we all understand.

Entertainment is more important than you think (right now)

Studies have shown that prior to a wedding, a couple will choose food or venue as the most important choice of the day.  Follow up surveys typically list entertainment near the top of things that couples wish that they had paid more attention to prior.  A professional DJ will bring years of expertise to the table, will match the vibe of the day and create an ever changing atmosphere as the day progresses.

Weddings

This really is where we shine.  With over 800 weddings under my belt, I have built a reputation for having a professional yet carefree style of emceeing & DJing.  Fun is the goal.  I try to stay away from a script, and get to know the crowd and just enjoy being in the moment.

Corporate Events

Whether a Christmas Party, Staff Appreciation Day or 3 day Conference, the one things that they have in common is that no two have much in common.  Each requires different equipment, cues, collaborations, etc.  Music makes all the difference between a boring staff event in a hotel ballroom and that little bit of energy that you get from hearing that great song as walk through the doors.

Stag & Doe's & Fundraisers

If you are looking for a way to increase the appeal of your fundraiser, having a DJ to either fill in those quiet moments or to help promote and entice donors to spend is never a bad choice.  Beyond setting a tone, a DJ can use their emcee skills to promote calls to action or revenue generators for the cause.

The past

Started From The Bottom, Now We’re Here

Drake, 2012

To be honest, I sort of started at the top, as far as the other DJ’s I surround myself with.  Being trained and mentored by some of the best DJ’s in Ontario, I was well positioned to learn what it takes to connect with a crowd and make each day memorable.  I continue to learn from the same people who shared their knowledge in the beginning and others who I have met and that I respect in the business.

The Present

We need to link up right now, na, na, na, na.

Akon, 2008

You don’t often hire a DJ on a regular basis.  For some this will be the only time that they ever land on this website and will likely hire one DJ ever.  It’s important to feel a connection with that person who will be front and centre of a good chunk of the biggest day of your life.  I have built a reputation for the relationships I have built with wedding couples and their guests.  Let’s link up and see if I am a fit for your event.

FAQ's

You have questions, We have answers.  If your question isn't here, reach out.  Always happy to discuss

Do you provide lighting?

Yes.  Dancefloor lighting is always provided.  There are situations where we will opt not to use it.  Often barn or outdoor dance floors with bistro string lights are better without additional lighting.  It is essentially your choice, but all pricing includes it.

What else is included?

A wireless handheld microphone is always available for any speeches, announcements, all equipment, along with backup equipment so that you can rest easy that the music will play on.  Of course a well dressed, professional DJ is part of all packages as well.  We have relationships with vendors of all things to make your dream a reality, so if you wonder if it is possible, it probably is.  From elaborate staging and decor to dancing on a cloud, or even live musicians... Just ask.

Do you talk a lot on the microphone?

Yes, but no.  I've spent my life trying to dispel the 'corny wedding DJ' narrative.  Have I succeeded?  I'd like to think so.  I interact with the crowd, I have fun, but I let the music do the heavy lifting. I'll get you on the dancefloor, the music will keep you there.

What is your mixing style?

This really depends on the event and the crowd.  You have a say.  Some crowds aren't concerned with 'quick mixes' and 'beat matching'.  Some songs just have to be played from end to end... I'm looking at you Bohemian Rhapsody.  Others are best suited to short mixes of the chorus and one verse mixed with a bunch of other similar songs.  In other words, the mixing style is a real mixture.

Do you take requests?

Of course.  It's important to include all guests in the day.  Although we pride ourselves in reading a crowd, input and requests are an important part of any event.  Requests prior and during are always welcome.

Have you or will you DJ a non traditional wedding?

Yes and yes.  Love is love.  The only prerequisite is that you are ready to have a great time!
